The short version: SpickSpan is a home companion, be kind with it. The longer version below is what you agree to by using the apps or this website.

Agreeing to these terms

By installing SpickSpan or using spickspan.pixeesoft.dev you agree to these terms. SpickSpan is made by Pixeesoft GmbH, Switzerland. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or the site.

Your licence

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use SpickSpan on devices you own, for your own household. The rules of the store you installed from (Apple App Store or Google Play) apply as well. Please don’t resell, tamper with or reverse-engineer the app except where the law expressly allows it.

Your data, your responsibility

Everything you enter lives on your device — we hold no copy and can restore nothing. The app includes a one-tap backup (Settings → Backup); please use it before switching or wiping phones. Lost data without a backup is, unfortunately, lost.

The one-time unlock

The free plan covers your first 20 chores; a single one-time purchase lifts the limit forever. The purchase is processed by Apple or Google under their terms and belongs to the store account that bought it. Refunds follow the store’s policies. Prices may change; features may evolve — the unlock never turns into a subscription.

Share links

The content of a share link comes from its sender, not from us. Anyone holding a link can read the chore inside, so share thoughtfully and only open links from people you trust. Don’t use share links to send anything unlawful or hurtful.

Usage data

The apps and the website collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports so we can keep SpickSpan healthy. What exactly, and what never leaves your phone, is described in the privacy policy.

No promises (“as is”)

SpickSpan is provided as is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. It is a gentle memory aid, not a safety device — please don’t rely on it for anything where missing a reminder could cause harm. Where the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the unlock.

Changes

We may update the app, the site and these terms. Material changes appear on this page with a new date above. Using SpickSpan after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law, and disputes belong to the courts of Switzerland. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain untouched.
